Ted has been at Baan Maa since the very beginning, one of Barney’s pups and a quiet soul who has grown up here. From the start, he has watched the world with gentle curiosity. His eyes light up when he sees us and his tail begins to wag, but he has never quite found the courage to take that final step forward. You can see that he wants to, but something deep inside holds him back.

What Ted lacks in confidence around people, he more than makes up for in joyful, playful energy with the other dogs. He runs, plays, and zooms around the garden with complete freedom. He is rarely far from Barney, and the two of them share a bond that has lasted since their very first days of survival together. Ted watches everything, learning from the other dogs as they enjoy affection and seeing how safe it really is. Each day he takes the smallest steps forward, and each one matters.

Ted may never be the kind of dog who rushes over for cuddles, but he is very much part of the Baan Maa family. He is one of the dogs who made this place what it is. For as long as he needs to feel ready, we will be here waiting patiently for him.
