Dipsy was rescued in July 2025 after we saw a Facebook post from a tourist asking for help. She had been hit by a car and left without treatment for months. When her owner eventually took her to the vet, the cost was far more than she could afford. With no other options, Dipsy was brought back home and left to cope on her own. By the time we reached her, she had been dragging herself along the concrete road for so long that her legs and feet were covered in painful wounds.

For months we treated her injuries daily, helping her heal from the drag wounds and supporting her through each stage of recovery. Despite everything she had endured, Dipsy never lost her gentle spirit. She greeted every treatment and every new person with quiet resilience, as if she understood that she was finally safe.

Today, her legs have healed as much as they can, and she now lives a full life with her paralysed friend Ruby Daang. She zooms around in her wheelchair, enjoys her garden of friends, and has her very own drag bag to keep her comfortable and safe. Dipsy will require lifelong management to protect her skin, prevent further injury, and ensure she can continue enjoying the mobility she has gained.
