Popcorn was the smallest of the pitbulls rescued in July 2025 from a backyard breeder. Thankfully, she was found before being forced to have puppies. Unlike the others, Popcorn didn’t arrive with visible wounds. Hers were emotional. When her owner brought us to the dogs, Popcorn lit up at the sight of her, desperate for affection and full of trust. Seeing that hope made her situation even harder to witness. She had been chained to a wall, living in filth, yet still believed the person who failed her would help.

When she first arrived at Baan Maa, she shook with fear. Every sound made her flinch, and she kept her body low to the ground as if waiting for something bad to happen. With time, patience, and steady routines, she slowly let her guard down. Now she’s the light of the kennels; playful, wiggly, and always the first to greet us. She loves her walks, adores other dogs, and would happily live in your pocket if she could. She’s also the smallest of the four pitbulls, but easily the bounciest.
