Ted's Rescue Story
Ted is a gentle, thoughtful boy who takes his time to feel safe. He is calm by nature, with a quiet curiosity about the world around him. With other dogs, he is relaxed and playful, finding comfort and confidence in their presence. They help him feel secure, and he enjoys their company greatly. Around people, Ted is still very shy. You can see that he wants to be involved, that he is curious and interested, but he holds himself back. His confidence is growing slowly, and every small step forward is a big win for him.
About Ted
Ted is part of the very beginning of Baan Maa. When he was just a small puppy, around four months old, we spotted him and his two sisters living in a field just outside our home. We began feeding them each day, slowly trying to earn their trust. As the weeks turned into months, we started to see just how many dogs in our area needed help. Ted was there at the start of it all. He is one of the reasons Baan Maa exists today. When we first found him, he was young and in relatively good condition. But after a short trip away, we returned to find Ted and his sisters emaciated and struggling to survive. That moment changed everything. It was when we realised we had to do more. Ted has always been one of the more sensitive souls. It took nearly a year before he felt brave enough to join his first walk. Building that trust took time, patience, and consistency. Now, he heads out on daily walks and enjoys every moment, quietly taking in the world around him.
