Baan Maa began as a dream born out of a deep passion for animal welfare and a desire to make a lasting difference. Since 2013, we have dedicated ourselves to working with various organizations that care for rescued animals, including elephants, wildlife, cats, and dogs. Our commitment to animal welfare grew stronger over the years, leading us to focus on the rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming of dogs.
In 2017, we moved to Thayang, Phetchaburi, and began working with a rescue organization in Hua Hin. It was here that the plight of the animals truly touched our hearts and gave us a renewed sense of purpose.
This year, we realized that it was time to bring our passion and dedication closer to home. More than ever, we noticed a significant increase in the number of animals in need of food and veterinary care. Right outside our own home, there were 50 animals within a 100-meter radius that required urgent assistance. Surrounded by animals desperately needing help, we knew we had to take action. It was in this moment that the idea for Baan Maa was born—a mission to provide care, shelter, and hope to the animals in our community and beyond.
With over a decade of experience in animal welfare, we knew that Baan Maa could be a powerful force for change in Tha Yang. What began as a response to the immediate needs in our community quickly grew into a full-fledged mission to provide care, shelter, and hope to animals across our region.
Our work with Baan Maa is driven by our deep commitment to supporting both animals and the families who love them. From providing essential veterinary care and daily nourishment to rehoming animals and supporting local feeders, we’ve dedicated ourselves to ensuring every pet has the opportunity for a better life. Our mission is clear: to uplift the lives of animals and their families, ensuring that no pet goes without the care and love they deserve.
